A specialist in the field of chemical technology, author of more than 100 scientific papers, including more than 50 articles and 8 RF patents for inventions.

He has been working in IGIC RAS since 1997; from 2012 to 2015 – Scientific Secretary of the Institute, from 2016 to the present day– Deputy Director for Science, Head of the Laboratory of Theoretical Foundations of Chemical Technology.

Scientific interests of A.A.Voshkin concern solving urgent problems of modern chemical technology. His research is focused on developing physicochemical foundations for the separation of components of liquid mixtures as well as technological solutions related to the practical implementation of extraction methods in the technology of extraction, separation, and purification of organic and inorganic substances.

A.A. Voshkin is Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Board RAS for Chemical Technology; Deputy Chairman of the Expert Council on Chemical Technology of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia; Member of the Mendeleev Russian Chemical Society; Member of the IGIC RAS Scientific Board; Chairman of the State Examination Board at the Department of Chemistry of the Moscow State Academy and Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia.

A.A. Voshkin works as Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Basic Organic Synthesis of the Moscow Technological University MIREA and Professor at the Department of Processes and Apparatus of Chemical Technology of the Moscow Polytechnic University. Currently, he is supervisor of three postgraduate students.

A.A. Voshkin is Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal Theoretical Foundations of Chemical Technology and Member of the Editorial Board of the journal Chemical Technology.
